Two of the signees are defensive tackles. Shemar Stewart, a 6'4", 290-pound prospect from St. Louis, Missouri, is ranked as a consensus five-star recruit and the top defensive tackle in the class of 2024. Nick Emmanwori, a 6'2", 285-pounder from Bradenton, Florida, is another five-star tackle and a key piece of Coach Prime's plan to rebuild the Colorado defense.
Colorado also added a top-tier linebacker in Kyion Grayes. The 6'3", 215-pound standout from Cincinnati, Ohio, is ranked as a four-star and brings athleticism and physicality to the Buffs' defense.
The icing on the cake for Coach Prime's recruiting haul is Dante Moore, a five-star quarterback from Martin Luther King High School in Detroit, Michigan. Moore is considered one of the best signal-callers in the country and will be expected to lead the Buffs' offense for years to come.
These four recruits are a significant win for Coach Prime and the Colorado football program. With these additions, the Buffs are poised to make a major jump in competitiveness under Prime's leadership.
"This is a great day for Colorado Football," said Prime. "These young men are outstanding athletes and incredible people. They are the foundation of what we are building here, and I can't wait to see them make their mark in Boulder."
The additions of Stewart, Emmanwori, Grayes, and Moore have raised expectations for the Buffs. Colorado finished 1-11 last season, but with this talented recruiting class, the program is aiming much higher in 2024 and beyond.
