James, a 4-star recruit out of Bishop Gorman High School in Nevada, has impressed scouts with his exceptional speed, agility, and power. Clocking in with a blazing 4.4-second 40-yard dash time, he has the breakaway speed to break away from opposing defenses. His quick feet and shifty moves make him an elusive target in the open field.

"Jordan is a special talent," said Oregon head coach Dan Lanning. "He has all the tools to be one of the best running backs in the country."

In his freshman season, James made an immediate impact for the Ducks. He rushed for over 700 yards and scored seven touchdowns, showcasing his versatility and big-play ability. His exceptional performances earned him All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention honors.

With the departure of star running back Bucky Irving, James is expected to take on a more significant role in the Oregon offense. Offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham has raved about James' potential, noting his ability to make explosive plays and his leadership qualities.

"Jordan is a dynamic threat for our offense," said Dillingham. "We expect him to be a major contributor next season."

As Oregon looks ahead to the 2024 season, Jordan James is poised to be one of the nation's top running backs. With his speed, agility, and proven production, he has all the makings of a superstar. If he continues to develop and perform at a high level, James has the potential to lead the Ducks to a successful season and establish himself as one of the best players in college football.
