Texas running back Quintrevion Wisner broke free for a stunning 43-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, setting the stage for a dominant offensive performance. The score gave the Longhorns an early lead and sparked their offense to new heights.

Texas' offense erupted throughout the game, amassing 52 points—their highest total since a 54-point output against Texas Tech in 2019. Quarterback Hudson Card threw for 257 yards and two touchdowns, while Bijan Robinson rushed for 94 yards and a score.

The Texas defense was equally impressive, holding the opposition to just 14 points. They forced three turnovers, including two fumble recoveries and an interception. Linebacker Jaylan Ford led the way with 10 tackles, while safety Jerrin Thompson recorded an interception.

Wisner's touchdown run and the Longhorns' overall performance represent a significant step forward for the program. It's the first time Texas has scored 50+ points since the 2019 season and their first road win against a Power Five opponent since 2018.

The Longhorns' victory provides them with momentum heading into the rest of their schedule. They will face Oklahoma State next week in a key Big 12 matchup. A strong performance against the Cowboys will further boost Texas' confidence and put them in contention for a bowl game appearance.
