Climate change and clean energy were high on the agenda. Biden and Trudeau discussed the need to accelerate the transition to renewable energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. They also pledged to collaborate on carbon capture and storage technologies and promote the adoption of electric vehicles.
"We owe it to future generations to act boldly on climate change," said Trudeau. "By working together, we can build a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future for our citizens."

Following their meeting, Biden and Trudeau agreed to establish a joint working group to coordinate future cooperation on key issues. They also committed to regular consultations at the ministerial and staff levels.
The meeting in Mexico City has further solidified the strong partnership between the United States and Canada. By working together on shared priorities, the two nations aim to address global challenges, promote economic growth, and improve the lives of their citizens.
