Grant has announced that she will release two new singles, "When My Heart Beats" and "Sayonara," on February 24. The songs mark her first original material since her 2010 album, "Somewhere Down the Road."
"I'm so excited to finally share these songs with my fans," Grant said. "They're really personal to me, and I hope they bring joy and inspiration to people."
In June 2023, Grant underwent an emergency heart surgery after suffering a heart attack. The procedure, which involved placing a stent to open a severely blocked artery, was successful.
"I'm feeling much better now," Grant said. "It's been a challenging journey, but I'm grateful to be on the road to recovery."
Throughout her health ordeal, Grant has received an outpouring of support from fans and peers.
"My fans have been so incredibly kind and supportive," Grant said. "Their prayers and well-wishes have meant the world to me."
In addition to the new music, Grant has scheduled several live performances for the coming months. She will headline a benefit concert in Nashville on March 4 and will perform at the Grand Ole Opry on March 6.
While Grant's health is still improving, she is hopeful about the future.
"I'm not sure exactly what the future holds, but I'm looking forward to making more music and connecting with my fans," Grant said. "I'm so grateful for the opportunity to continue my journey."
