## Gonzaga Rolls Past BYU 111-83, Extends Win Streak to 6

Mark Few's squad wasted no time taking control of the game, building a double-digit lead in the first half. The Bulldogs shot a blistering 55.2% from the field and assisted on 23 of their 43 field goals.

"I thought our guys played with great energy and purpose today," said Few after the game. "We executed the game plan, and our defense was outstanding."

Sophomore guard Ryan Nembhard led the way for Gonzaga, scoring a game-high 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting. He also dished out seven assists and grabbed five rebounds.

"Ryan is a special player," said Few. "He's a great decision-maker and just plays the game at a high level."

Freshman center Braden Huff also had a strong outing for the Bulldogs, finishing with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Huff's physicality and rebounding in the paint were a key factor in Gonzaga's victory.

"Braden has been playing great for us all season," said Few. "He brings a much-needed presence inside."

Despite a strong performance from guard Rudi Williams, who scored 22 points, BYU had no answer for Gonzaga's balanced attack. The Cougars shot just 39.1% from the field and were outrebounded 53-35.

"Gonzaga is a great team," said BYU head coach Mark Pope. "They executed their game plan better than us."

With their sixth straight win, Gonzaga remains one of the top teams in the nation. They will next face the Pepperdine Waves on Thursday, February 9.

"We're not looking past anyone," said Few. "We just need to stay focused and keep playing hard."
